• Step 1. Navigate to the Trade Discount menu under the Omni Sales module in the left sidebar.
• Step 2. Go to the Promotions tab and click the Add button.
  
  
• Step 3. On the New Trade Discount page, fill in the following fields:
  
  
  • Name trade discount: Enter the name of the promotion program.
  • Start time: Select the start date and time of the program.
  • End time: Select the end date and time of the program.
  • Group clients: Choose the client groups to apply the program to. If none are selected, the promotion will apply to all client groups by default.
  • Select clients: If you want to apply the promotion to specific clients, check this option. A field will appear for you to select the clients.
  • Group items: Select the item groups to apply the discount to. If none are selected, the promotion will apply to all items.
  • Select items: If you want to apply the promotion to specific items, check this option. A field will appear for you to select the items.
  • Formal: Choose the discount method: Percent of product or Price.
  • Discount: Enter the discount value based on the selected discount type.
  • Channel: Select one or more sales channels to apply the promotion to: POS, Portal, Pre-order.
  • Minimum order value: Set the minimum order value required for the promotion to be applied. However, for Portal and Pre-order, this field is not available because the discount will be directly applied to the product, regardless of the order value.
• Step 4. Click Submit to save the promotion.

Examples

Example 1: POS Channel – Percent of product

• If the order total on POS is less than 500 USD, no discount will be applied.
  
  
• If the order total on POS is greater than or equal to 500 USD, a 10% discount will be applied to the order.
  
  

Example 2: POS Channel – Price 

• If the order total on POS is less than 500 USD, no discount will be applied.
  
  
• If the order total on POS is greater than or equal to 500 USD, a fixed discount of 50 USD will be applied to the order.
