The tariff fee will be automatically applied based on the actual weight or the volumetric weight, whichever is greater. Tariff fee will be calculated and applied on each Package Description line.

Tariff rule applies to Locker Package, Shipping, Pickup, Consolidate.

Step 1. Go to Settings à Tariff Rules à Create rules like below:

Step 2. Create transactions and enter appropriate package weight and dimensions.

Example:

Rule 1: From 1kg – 5 kg: tariff fee= 3$

Rule 2: From 5kg – 15 kg: tariff fee= 5$

Rule 3: From 15kg - 30 kg: tariff fee= 11$

Calculate and determine the volumetric weight and actual weight of each pack

Weight Vol.  = Length * Width * Height / Volume percentage  . Volume percentage =  6000cm3/kg, this number is configured in Taxes setting.

Pack 1: Weight Vol = 10 * 5 * 5 /  6000 = 0.04 kg. Actual Weight = 3kg Chargeable weight is 3 kg -> Tariff fee = 3$

Pack 2: Weight Vol = 20 * 30 * 50 /  6000 = 5 kg. Actual Weight = 3kg Chargeable weight is 5 kg -> Tariff fee = 5$

Pack 3: Weight Vol = 50 * 50 * 40 /  6000 = 16.67 kg. Actual Weight = 31 kg Chargeable weight is 31 kg -> Tariff fee = 11 $

Note:

-          - If the weight exceeds the highest range set in the tariff rules, the maximum tariff fee will be applied.

-          - Tariff fee will be added to the Total of the transaction.
