This data is used in the Assets menu to track the status of each asset.
The Assets column shows the number of assets currently assigned to each status label.

Add New Status Label

To add a new status label to your organization:

• Step 1. Go to Settings menu under Fixed Equipment module from the left sidebar -> Select the Status labels menu
  
• Step 2. Click on the Add button on the top.
  
  
• Step 3. In the Add status labels popup, fill the following details:
   
  
  1. Name: Name of the status label (e.g., "Available", "In Repair", "Lost")
  2. Status type: Choose one of the predefined types:
     - Deployable: These assets can be checked out
     - Pending: These assets can not yet be assigned to anyone, often used for items that are out for repair but are expected to return to circulation.
     - Undeployable: These assets cannot be assigned to anyone.
     - Archived: These assets cannot be checked out and will only show up in the Archived view.
  3. Chart color: Choose a color to visually represent this label on status reports or charts
  4. Note: Optional description or additional information about the status label
  5. Default Label: Check this box if this status should be the default one when a new asset is created

• Step 4. Click Save button 

Edit Status Label

To edit the details of an existing status label:

• Step 1. Go to Settings menu under Fixed Equipment module from the left sidebar -> Select the Stauts Lables menu.
• Step 2. Hover over the status label to be edited and click Edit
  
  
• Step 3. Make the necessary changes.
  
• Step 4. Click Save

Delete Status Label

If a status label is no longer operational, you can delete it. To delete a status label:

• Step 1. Go to Settings menu under Fixed Equipment module from the left sidebar -> Select the Status Labels menu.
• Step 2. Hover over the status label to be deleted and click  Delete
  
  
• Step 3. Confirm your selection in the following pop-up. The status label will be deleted.
