The Models feature is used to create and manage models, which are utilized when creating devices in the system. Model is used for the device creation function.
Step 1: Go to the Settings menu under the Workshops Module.
Step 2: Select the Models menu.
Step 3: Click the New button to create a new model
Step 4: A popup titled Add Model will appear. Fill in the following details:
Name: Enter the name of the device model.
Manufacturer: Select the manufacturer from the list (created in the Manufacturers Setting).
Category: Select the category for the model (created in the Categories Setting).
Model No: Enter the model number.
Fieldset: Select the fieldset (created in the Fieldset Setting) to define additional attributes for the model.
Description: Enter a brief description of the model.
Step 5: After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button.
You can enable or disable a model using the toggle switch in the Status column on the models list.
Enabled: The model is active and can be used when creating devices.
Disabled: The model is inactive and cannot be used.
