Create an Inspection Template
Step 1: Go to the Settings menu under the Workshops Module.
Step 2: Select the Inspection Template menu.
Step 3: Click the New button to create a new Inspection Template
Step 4: A popup titled Add Inspection Template will appear. Fill in the following details:
Code: Enter a unique identifier for the template.
Name: Enter the name of the template.
Description: Enter a detailed description of the template’s purpose and scope.
Step 5: After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button.
Activate or Deactivate a Template
You can enable or disable a template using the toggle switch in the Status column on the templates list.
Enabled: The template is active and can be used for inspections.
Disabled: The template is inactive and cannot be used.
Step 6: Add Forms and Questions to a Template:
Go to the details page of the template you just created.
Step 7: Click Add New Form to create a new form within the template.
Step 8: A popup titled Add Inspection Template Form will appear. Fill in the following details:
Name: Enter the name of the form.
Description: Enter a description of the form’s purpose.
Step 9: Click New Question to create a checklist of items to be inspected. Fill in the following details for each question:
Question Name: Enter the name of the question or the item to be checked (e.g., “Are there any cracks on the screen?”).
Type: Select the question type from the following options:
- Input
- Number
- Textarea
- Select
- Multi Select
- Checkbox
- Date Picker
- Datetime Picker
- Attachment
Note: You can reorder the checklist items by dragging and dropping them into the desired position.
