The Fieldset feature is used to create custom fieldsets, which are utilized when creating models in the Settings. This configuration is particularly useful for businesses managing various types of equipment, machinery, or vehicles with specific attributes, such as:
Motorbikes: License plate, brand, model, manufacturing year, etc.
Computers: Serial number, brand, manufacturing year, chip, etc.
Step 1: Go to the Settings menu under the Workshops Module.
Step 2: Select the Fieldset Menu
Step 3: Click the New button to create a New Fieldset
Step 4: A popup titled Add Fieldset will appear. Fill in the following details:
Name: Enter the name of the fieldset.
Description: Enter a brief description of the fieldset.
Step 5: After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button.
You can enable or disable a fieldset using the toggle switch in the Status column on the fieldsets list.
Enabled: The fieldset is active and can be used in the system.
Disabled: The fieldset is inactive and cannot be used.
Step 6: Add Custom Fields to a Fieldset: Go to the details of the fieldset you just created.
Step 7: Click New → A popup titled Add Custom Field will appear. Fill in the following details:
Field Belong To: Select the fieldset to which this custom field belongs.
Field Name: Enter the name of the custom field.
Type: Select one of the following field types:
Default Value: Enter a default value for the custom field (if applicable).
Order: Enter the order of the custom field within the fieldset.
Grid: Enter the grid value (based on Bootstrap columns, e.g., 12). The maximum value is 12.
Required: Enable this option if the field is mandatory for users to fill in.
Step 8: After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button.
You can enable or disable a custom field using the toggle switch in the Status column on the custom fields list.
Enabled: The custom field is active and can be used in the system.
Disabled: The custom field is inactive and cannot be used.
