The Devices feature is used to manage all vehicles, machinery, and equipment related to customers. You will create a device when a customer brings their vehicle, machinery, or equipment in for repair for the first time.

Create a Device

Step 1: Go to the Devices menu and click New.

Step 2: The system will display the Add Device popup. Fill in the following details:


Code: Enter a unique identification code for the device.

Name: Enter the name of the vehicle, equipment, or machinery (e.g., Truck A123, Excavator X789).

Serial No: Enter the serial number, chassis number, or engine number (if available).

Customer: Select the asset owner (customer).

Model: Enter the specific model from the manufacturer (e.g., Toyota Hilux 2024).

Prod Date: Enter the manufacturing date.

Purchase Date: Enter the purchase date.

Warranty Starting Date: Enter the warranty start date.

Warranty Period Months: Enter the warranty period in months (e.g., 12 months).

Warranty Expiry Date: Enter the warranty expiration date.

Warranty Expiring Alert (Days Before): Set an alert to notify X days before the warranty expires.

Description: Enter a description of the device.

Main Image: Upload a main image of the device.

Device Images: Upload additional images of the device (if applicable).

Step 3: After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button.

Transfer ownership: 

Allows device migration from one client to another

Step 1. Go to Device detail -> select More -> select Transfer ownership


Step 2. Select a customer and click Confirm
