Categories Setting in Service Management module

Categories -Billing Plan Units -> Services / Subscription services Menu -> Orders Menu -> Contract -> Appendix


The Categories screen is used to create and manage groups of services. The data at this screen is used for the Services menu screen


1. Create Category

* Note: When creating a new category data, the data will be displayed at the Commodity Group screen of Inventory. Similarly, when creating category data at the Commodity Group screen of Inventory, it will also be displayed in the Categories screen of Service management for use


Step 1: Select the Settings menu -> Select the Categories screen -> Select the Add function included in the screen



Step 2: The system will display the Add Category screen -> Enter the necessary data -> Then click Save to save the operation or select Close to close the screen and cancel the action just done


* Explanation:

o   The Category name field is used to enter the name of the service group. Example: Mobiles, Computer

o   The Code field is used to enter the code of the service group

o   If the Active field is selected, the generated category will be displayed on the Services menu screen for use

2. Edit Category

Select the Settings menu -> Select the Categories screen -> Select the function  available in the screen corresponding to the data line to be edited



3. Delete Category

 Select the Settings menu -> Select the Categories screen -> Select the function  in the screen corresponding to the data line to be deleted
